Crashings winds

A drawing challenge on the french forum of Allfanarts ^^
We could translate the title as "The winds cowered"

The theme was to illustrate the Sumerian myth of the battle between Ninurta, "champion" of gods chosen to fight Anzu, who had stolen the power to Ninurta's father. Ninurta, disguised as a demon and carried by the wind, finally killed the winged lion Anzu.
(Sorry for the litteral, really approximative English -_-°
It was a really interesting to interprete, and I really enjoyed it ^^

Un dessin réalisé pour un challenge sur Allfanarts ^^

Le thème était d'illustrer un mythe sumérien : Combat de Ninourta, dieu guerrier envoyé par son père déchu pour combattre l'usurpateur Anzu...
Ninourta, déguisé en démon et porté par les vents, sortit vainqueur de l'affrontement en coupant les ailes d'Anzu avant de lui trancher la tête.
C'était vraiment intéréssant à tenter d'illustrer; le lion ailé m'a joliment donné du fil à retordre, mais j'ai pu essayer quelques nouvelles choses sur la colo...
